We currently have four Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Three are active breeders and one is a retired dam.

The cost of adoption for our babies is $2,500. We do ask for a 50% deposit when a baby is chosen. We do not accept deposits until the puppies are four weeks of age and only after individuals have been given adoption approval.

We follow the Michigan State University Veterinary School guidelines regarding genetic testing for Pembroke Welsh Corgi’s. This includes genetic testing on all Dam’s and Sire’s for Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), and Von Willebrand’s Disease (VWD).

Not only do we allow visits, we encourage them. The parents are also in our home and you are welcome to meet and engage with them as well.

We are member of the AKC Bred-With-Heart club.

The process includes the completion of an application, a video of the home (including the outside and areas in which the puppy will reside), and a video and/or face to face interview.

We provide a one-year guarantee against all genetic defects.

Purchase price includes limited AKC registration, deworming at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks, initial five way distemper shot, microchipping and lifetime enrollment in the AKC reunite program.

We offer what we like to call, “lifetime tech-support”. Our basic philosophy is that you will always have access to us for any questions, concerns, or joyous moments. We love to maintain communication with all of our families and welcome pictures and updates.

ABSOLUTELY! This is actually stipulated in our adoption/sales contract. If for any reason you are unable to keep the dog, you are required to agree that you will return him/her to us.

We do utilize a sales contract and I am more than willing to provide you with a copy, so that you may review it prior to agreeing to purchase.

The short answer is yes. At the end of the day the most important variable to us is that our puppies are placed in homes, which are the best fit for them as well as the families. We have a rigorous application and approval process. These are all living creatures that deserve the very best that we can offer them.

“Corgis in a Blanket is an ethical, hobby breeder that breeds for health and wellness and to better the breed. The process from beginning to end was incredible. They provided updates through the pregnancy, and helped me decide what kind of personality I was looking for in my pup. As a result, Kevin feels like he was born to be in this family. He is the perfect companion for my golden retriever who is his very best friend in the world, and he is a gorgeous specimen true to the AKC standard. I was able to visit multiple times prior to bringing him home, and they did their due diligence to make sure that I would be a suitable home for him which I very much appreciate. They have a return contract so there’s anything happens in my life where I am unable to take care of him, they will gladly take him back. There is no question, that they love Kevin as much as I do."

“We happened to come across Corgis-in-a-Blanket online when we finally made the decision to adopt a puppy. There was so much information about Corgis on the page that we felt comfortable that were making the right choice. It was so easy to get in touch with Stacey and the application process was quick and easy. We were able to share who we were through the application form and I love that she wanted to FaceTime to meet the family. It helped us figure out which puppy would be the best fit for our home. The time invested in the process showed me that our new puppy was coming from someone who wants the best for their pups as well as their new family. The whole adoption process took a few days, and we were even given the opportunity to meet our little guy in person if we wanted to, before we got to bring him home! He even got to bring a little bit of his home with him in his little care package Stacey sent with us when we picked him up. We got Gizmo and he loves his big sister Schatzi (German Shepherd), wants to play with the 4 cats and he loves our family and neighbors. He has provided us too many laughs to count and his zoomies are the best. His temperament is great, he is healthy and he is the cutest little pup, we could not be happier with our decision to adopt Gizmo. I have even reached out with questions about Gizmo months after the adoption and Stacy got back to me quickly with some great information."

“In May of 2021 my partner and I got our first corgi from “Corgis in a Blanket” and we could not have had a better experience! From the time we first reached out to inquire about her upcoming litters to the time we got to meet the pups, Stacey was responsive and more than willing to answer our questions. We got to meet the puppies when they were about 5 weeks old, and Stacey let us sit with them and take our time getting to know their personalities so we could find the best fit. We were blown away by how much love and care they put into raising these dogs! We really wanted to find an ethical breeder that would put as much love into our future friend as we would, and we found that and more from “Corgis in a Blanket.” Our pup is the sweetest and most well-adjusted dog we have ever met and is easygoing and loving to every person and animal she meets. We have already recommended “Corgis in a Blanket” to several people and will absolutely be coming back for our next Corgi!"
